The Hartwig Medical Foundation and Volta Labs have entered into a collaboration to explore the benefits and feasibility of automating the Hartwig Foundation’s OncoAct Panel Assay on the innovative digital fluidics platform developed by Volta Labs. Automation of post-hybridization capture and wash steps on the Volta Labs platform produced sequencing data from reference samples that was of similar or better quality than data generated using the clinically validated, manual OncoAct Panel workflow. This study has paved the way for developing a robust, fully automated OncoAct Panel Assay on the Volta Labs Callisto™ Sample Prep System.
