During his presentation, Udayan will showcase how this benchtop instrument provides precise magnetic field and temperature control directly on its open surface, facilitating complex operations such as paramagnetic bead-based sample purification, double-sided size selection, and temperature-dependent enzymatic reactions like nucleic acid fragmentation and ligation.

This design significantly reduces reliance on tubes and pipette tips, minimizing plastic waste and streamlining the entire workflow. Callisto comes equipped with a suite of preloaded apps, capable of performing nucleic acid extraction, long- and short-read library prep, and targeted enrichment on a single platform. With less than 30 minutes of user set-up and hands-on time, Callisto offers a true push-button, walk-away experience, processing up to 24 samples in parallel.
